the last red rose I went to the lake to please the Lady for a gift of my fate sah hills brown instead of green no water in this world was seen wanted to fill some water in my hat against the grasses and flower's thirst but the water disappeared and a bloody lake was seen at first put my hand in that lake and red covered bloody she went out heard the soul's deeper pain and the ground quaked and bursted loud Oh Lady of the lake I bet please give the water back to the land make the human's wars will end and please make an end to the death Oh wanderer I can't help you now coz I can never stop the wars it's the human's way to destroy to play with us just like toys a rose fell down from her hand beautiful with blossoms so white the liquid of the lake went up to reach her root in the sinking sunlight the white rose of peace turned to red red as blood and later turned to black and black roses grew on the land and the humans been condemned the war started to reach the world started to destroy our earth all roses turned there to black only one single rose was left the blossoms red as crimson silk like velvet it was, when I felt it on my skin and as a blood-red sun the rose's light grew up in this beauty the love was rising so all humans on this earth just realize there's a way to stop all those wars let the love return to your hearts and make an end to all those wars a simple single rose is here red for the love of a humans heart let us realize more of them to make an end to all those wars

Stormwitch’s Night – the kyrics for thsi song I wrote already in the Mid Eighties about some stormy autumn nights in Scotland in late 1985. When I ame then back from Italy in very early 1989 I wrote already a better version and performed that also already in the late busking gigs. Early recordings appeared on the Live solo albums in the mid nineties and later also on Between the Gates of Fate series.
The version on this album is the soloversion when I perform alone and was also recorded live in that village south of Solothurn, Switzerland.

Dreams of faerieland This song was just a bridge between Stormwitch’s Night and Der Dämon und die Fee* a poem I wrote in the late Eighties.
Der Dämon und die Fee I recorded it already in the late nineties but also live on my several solo gigs. It is about the meeting of the inner love-pictured as a Fee (Fay, Faerie) with the never ending thoughts of a human, with his doubts and fears (here pictured as the demon)both sides on their eternal Quest for balance and peace.
As my voice was in these winters in a better condition my voice also sounds different to the later recordings after early 2014.
Both sides are needed for the balance tho so both are necessary for the eternal points of view changing in the eternal hug between doubt and love.

Sidhe is a bit about a dream I had int he middle of Eire ages ago. Walking over the hills with a lot of winged visitior-aliens around me. The Instruments which were used in this was slide guitar, bulbul tarang, and some slight-played keys.

The Last Red Rose The Lyrics for thsi I wrote in the long break between the world and Schroedinger’s Cat. So far in 2004. It is a song against all wars. It was recorded several times as I also still play it live. I think it is important to bring the humans the wish a bit closer to their little minds for peace. And the end of all these wars.
The Message is not other creatures can stop these wars,, no we all must stop them starting from each of us from each’s mind.

Twilight is about walking thru the forests, woods, over the meadows while Twilight and with all these hunters appearing in the night while the daylight folks go to bed. The Theme is a topic out of the Night-Song series where I worked with a lot of classical piees I couldn’t take at all in the end as in the end I had five hours of music for 1,5hours of film.even the album was released with a such long delay and still the film is not finished, so when I started originally with Night-Song was in late 2011.so it was sort of a spin-off of the Atomic Sun series which brought a lot of albums into the new millenium.

Flying Thru the night I wrote on the way back from Solothurn. I stayed two days with some friends in the Schaffhausen area. It is a bit like the older Cat songs and well, indeed these friends I knew from my journey back from Italy to Germany. We sat there and had tea cake and a tiny smoke and I just went to the car and got all these things out from it and did a spontanous living room session. It was the last time I have heard from them. So this song tagged not only the end of a journey but also the end of a time period.
It was a short time before Will Greenwood and a short time after Gerard Hubert have passed away

After that I went back to Germany via a tiny small derivation via France, Colmar. There I recorded another four songs that also weren’t released. Originally I wanted to release the albums Nebelung and Thru these dark autumn nights as a double CD and did a Promotion time for it, but methinks It was especially that what it killed the wish to release it and I took it down.

As I promised to re-release 34 albums with outtakes I start with these ones.
